Kendall High Compression 20-30mmHg medicinal socks are indicated for the prevention and treatment of different stages of venous diseases such as varicose veins, lymphatic diseases, swelling and tiredness in the legs, because they have graduated compression that ensure greater compression in the ankle and a gradual decrease to thigh height (depending on the model), facilitating blood circulation.
Indications:
After surgery for varicose veins Severe cases of swelling, pain and tiredness in the legs.
Venous Diseases (Elephantiasis/Thromboses/Phlebitis).
Contraindications:
Arterial insufficiency (difficulty of blood circulation in the “arteries” with consequent obstruction characterized in its most extreme degree by gangrene). -Gangrene (tissue death of the extremity with consequent change of skin color, getting to be stained and smelly).
-Skin infections (proliferation of fungi or bacteria, causing color changes or wounds with location between the fingers or other territories of the legs. Example: erysipelas-acute phase, chilblains and purulent wounds-with the presence of pus).
-Wet dermatoses (lesions of the skin with marked secretion).
-Skin grafting in the process of healing on the lower limbs (patients with severe burns or wounds requiring skin coverage from another region, at a recent stage-up to 30 days). Additional benefits on your Kendall sock®.
